About XAGRO S.A.

Incorporated in 2009, XAGRO is a vertically integrated food and beverage manufacturer / exporter specializing in private label / store brands. XAGRO is located in the South Caribbean Autonomous Region, (RACCS) of Nicaragua, about 80km from the historic port town of Bluefields.

Our products are sold to importers, brokers, institutional buyers, food manufacturers, and grocery chains throughout the world.

With over 65 employees, 70% women, we operate several divisions including fresh and processed tropical roots and tropical fruits, an agriculture investment division, sourcing, and contract farming.

All of our products are produced under international standards of good manufacturing practices. This includes, when needed, the use of post harvest chemicals approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Our agricultural and administrative staff have been trained in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACPP) certification with continuous monitoring and improvements.

To ensure high quality production and products, XAGRO follows Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as well as industrial safety and occupational health systems.
